Fanshawe College is a comprehensive college serving the greater London region. As known as “The Forest City”, London is a beautiful, mid-sized city located only two hours from Toronto and Niagara Falls.
Fanshawe College has several campuses situated in various locations in the Ontario area. As the main campus of Fanshawe College, London Campus has 21,000 full-time students enrolled and consists of 11 modern buildings set on 100 acres. Located 15 minutes from the main London Campus, London Downtown Campus has the School of Digital and Performing Arts, School of Information Technology, and School of Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Arts. Additionally, the newly opened London South Campus offers five graduate certificate programs: Agri-Business Management, Business Management, Business and Information Systems Architecture, Health Care Administration Management, and Retirement Residence Management. Besides, Fanshawe also has Woodstock Campus, St. Thomas Campus, Simcoe Campus, and Huron/Bruce Regional Sites.
As one of Ontario's largest colleges, Fanshawe offers more than 200 academic programs available to 43,000 students each year in response to labour market needs. Fanshawe also dedicates to providing services and support to all international students, new and returning. Currently, there are more than 6,000 international students from more than 95 different countries studying at Fanshawe. In addition to various academic programs, Fanshawe also offers international exchange opportunities in countries all around the world and provides over 500 academic pathways across Canada and worldwide.
For student support, Fanshawe offers a full suite of arrival and accommodation services at no extra charge to international students. Additionally, Fanshawe’s tuition fee also covers some extra student supports: a London Transit Bus Pass, health plan, dental plan and extended coverage benefits, full access to the brand-new Student Wellness Centre and over 200 clubs and events every year.
As for financial support, more than 5 million dollars is available in over 450 scholarships, awards and bursaries awarded every year and some scholarships are specifically and exclusively designed for international students (e.g. Entrance Scholarships and International In-Course Scholarships).
Currently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Fanshawe strictly follows health and safety protocols and procedures to keep students safe. Although visiting campuses is not recommended under this circumstance, Fanshawe offers other paths for potential students to get to know Fanshawe virtually. A virtual tour of the London campus is available , allowing students to preview the campus and get a first glimpse into life as a Fanshawe student. Additionally, from November 9-27, Fanshawe will hold a for students to get more program information and get support from International Education Advisors.
